The No Cook Thanksgiving

Couldn't catch that turkey? Or maybe that snow is putting a dent in your travel plans? Don't fret, you can still have a full Thanksgiving and the best part is you don't have to clean up afterward, it's just alllll lounge time.

First up, Brook Tavern. With first course options like a lobster and asparagus tart and baked crab and andouille stuffed oysters it will be hard to fit in anything else, but you can choose the traditional turkey or insist on being different and go for the strip steak or salmon. We love the Brook with it's cozy fireplace area where you can have a drink before you sit, and the staff is always top notch when it comes to service. For dessert we would go for the apple crumb skillet, their dessert skillets are unbelievable. Find their full menu here.

Longfellow's is also going to be serving Thanksgiving dinner to guests, and their Horseradish Crusted Steamship of Beef sounds so good we might even suggest forgoing the bird this year. Finish it off with a total classic, Bananas Foster, served over cheesecake, and you won't miss the tryptophan. Click here for their menu.

If you are planning on going out for the Night Before Thanksgiving drink, Prime at Saratoga National is doing an all night Happy Hour, we suggest a nice Old Fashioned to get into the holiday season spirit.

Keep in mind if you planned on only have one and then 11 of your closest friends showed up and it turned into more of a party, Martin, Harding & Mazzotti, LLP’s Free Cab Ride Home program is providing free cab rides tonight in our area. To get your free cab ride home simply call their toll-free number: 1800LAW1010 or 1.800.529.1010.
