When your city's New Year's Eve event is the biggest & oldest in the state outside of NYC, staying local to celebrate is a given.
First Night Saratoga offers endless options for anyone looking to ring in the New Year, with over 30 different performance venues hosting live music, comedy and dance. The goal is to promise a full range of musical genres to enjoy like "from country-rock (18 Strings of Trouble, Dry Town Drifters, Red Haired Strangers) to 60s retro (Betsy and the ByeGons, Big Fez and the Surfmatics) to dixieland jazz (Brass and Blues) to real-deal folk (Phil Henry, Don White) to eclectic world music (HEARD)".
First Night 2015 will also include local talent Graham Tichy, Sirsy and the Lustre Kings - for a full line up of performers click right here and for a schedule of all of the night's events, go right over here. Whatever you decide to do next week, one thing is mandatory- it's not New Year's without fireworks at midnight. So head over to the Arts Center as the clock winds down and get ready to toast the start of a great New Year.
