WEEKEND It List 12/5

Yes it is December already, and with the Victorian Streetwalk already behind us you'd better get your party pants on and add some holiday cheer to your coffee because the season is HERE, Saratoga.

First up, it is Saratoga County Winter Restaurant Week and you can enjoy a 3-Course dinner for just $10, $20 or $30 at participating Saratoga County restaurants. Click here for a full list and make your reservations asap!

While you are out shopping at Northshire Bookstore for all of your well-read friends be sure to participate in their Book Angel Program. Names of children who may not otherwise have access to books are collected from local schools and books are chosen by booksellers and customers for each child. The books are then handed out by the schools before holiday break. A must do this season.

These slip-ons from Stubbs and Wooten. Are. Perfection. Better than getting coal in your stocking but sort of the same thing.

Gift idea alert! Ski lodge personalized art! Buy one for those friends of yours that you never see during winter weekends who blather on about how great the powder was during Thursday night drinks.

You will be the hero of the holiday party if you show up with a bûche de Noël from TC Paris Bakery, coming in second place is this one. Okay maybe it's a tie. Speaking of parties, click here for our guide.

Kill two holiday birds with one stylish stone by stuffing this wine tote with your offerings and then leaving them the tote as a gift.

Did you see our piece about how men should be dressing? No? Where have you been? Okay click here for some wise words from our dapper guest blogger Michael Finney. Then click here to brighten up that black tie.

Perfect party pants right here.

It's a little known rule that if you live in Saratoga Springs you must have at least one horse racing ornament/decoration in your house during the holiday season. Impressions of Saratoga has you covered.

Winter party season means plenty of festive grog, and we have one new item to add to our Hangover Survival list, Fire Cider. Find it at Healthy Living Market and Cafe and brace yourselves.

This weekend we will be seeing you at the Saratoga Springs History Museum Gala which features great music by the Audio Stars, games of chance, complimentary photos by the Saratoga Photobooth Company, and great food. A selection of sumptuous food is provided by Steve Sullivan and the staff of Longfellow’s Restaurant, and complimentary beer by Saratoga Eagle Sales and Service.

Saturday night find us at the Flower and Fruit Mission Annual Snow Ball, click here to see some classic photos and our take up some updated dinner dance style.
