So we've already told you about one great event this weekend that is absolutely free of charge and here's another one for Saturday! The Hunt for History and Horses was scheduled to take place at the track Saturday morning into early afternoon, however because of the weather predictions, it has been moved inside. Kind of a bad news, good news situation though because the organizers over at the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame are basically throwing the exact same event with all the fun, prizes, food and activities - the only difference? It's free! You'll get free admission to the Museum from 10am-4pm, can compete in a huge museum wide scavenger hunt, enjoy refreshments, equine-themed movies in the Hall of Fame, crafting stations, raffles and more.
& if you haven't been to the Racing Museum yet, take our word for it, it is the perfect place for a scavenger hunt. We were there for the first time last spring and could not get over how enormous it was and also how engaging and vibrant the exhibits were- perfect for a hunt!
