Head to Mingle on the Avenue in Saratoga Springs tonight where our very own Mayor Joanne Yepsen will be the Guest Bartender at 6pm as part of their 12 week campaign dedicated to helping the Saratoga community. Tonight is part of a series of Attitude of Gratitude Mondays during which Mingle will offer 15% of breakfast, lunch and dinner proceeds to a different local community organization every week for 12 weeks and tonight's recipient will be Code Blue Saratoga.
"This evening we are pleased to announce the guest appearance of Mayor Yepsen as our very special Guest Bartender in support of a charitable organization that is very near and dear to her heart," says Jose Filomeno, Managing Partner of Mingle on the Avenue Saratoga Springs. Today’s donation recipient, Code Blue Saratoga, is an emergency shelter serving homeless people in the city of Saratoga Springs who might otherwise remain unsheltered during periods of extreme winter weather. It is a collaborative effort between the City of Saratoga, faith based groups and nonprofits serving the homeless population and committed residents of the City of Saratoga Springs
A well-rounded list of local organizations to receive donations in the weeks ahead include the Saratoga County Economic Opportunity Council, Wellspring, Saratoga Central Catholic School, Saratoga Arts, The Saratoga Hospital Foundation, Catholic Charities of Saratoga, Warren and Washington County, Shelters of Saratoga, Saratoga Senior Center, The Community Hospice, and the Franklin Community Center. Go to their website here for more information.
Mingle is located at 30 Lake Avenue, Saratoga Springs next to the Pavilion Grand Hotel.
