Denim love affair ||
My love affair with denim started at a young age. Denim acts as a neutral in one’s wardrobe. It can be paired with any color or fabric, dressed up or worn casual. Even better, it can be paired with itself.
I’m feeling some ‘denim on denim’ vibes for this weekend.
Styling tip || Pairing denim on denim
One of my favorite ways to wear denim is with more denim. Denim paired with denim has this classic Americana feel to it. A chambray shirt half tucked into the waist of boyfriend jeans is effortless.
The key to rocking denim on denim is to work with different washes. For this look I paired a dark blue oversized denim shirt with light-wash boyfriend jeans. The contrasting shades offer a visible separation of the top and bottom, allowing each piece to stand on it’s own.
