If you aren't familiar with Kaitlin's Korner, it is an incredible, inclusive playground that is the dream of Becky Bowman, whose daughter Kaitlin suffers from a genetic disease called Type 2 Bratten. The disease has taken Kaitlin's ability to walk and talk and the Kaitlin's Korner adaptive playground would allow all kids with special needs to play and enjoy the experience of being in a playground together. Becky has raised $70,000 out of the $95,000 she needs to build the playground in Wilton and needs your help to get the rest of the way! From Kaitlin's Korner:
We are still looking for donations for Kaitlin's Korner. This playground will not only be in named in honor of my precious lovely girl and her battle with LINCL but it will be an awesome addition to our community and allow special needs children a place to play alongside one another.
I've raised $70,000 and I'm in desperate need of your help. Even if you can only donate $5, $10 or $20, every dollar helps. Please don't pass this by because you think your $5 won't make a difference. 100 people donating $5 adds up to an additional $500 for the playground. It DOES make a difference.
